High-security designed bullet-proofing in Chandrababu Naidu's office

The CM would virtually inspect the Polavaram project and other future projects using drone cameras set in the command and control room.

Vijayawada: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s office complex that has high security and is designed with bullet proof glass cannot be destroyed even if it is attacked with rocket launchers. Keeping in view the Z-Plus security Mr Naidu has as CM, the office was built as per instructions from his security officials. The interior design and facilities thereof are also as per the tastes and preferences of the CM.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the office complex and started presiding over the affairs of the state from the Amaravati temporary Secretariat set in a rustic yet enchanting ambience from Wednesday.

The CM’s office has a dignified look with state-of-the-art infrastructure, high-security bullet-proof glass-cover, a well-designed conference hall, a guest room, a dining hall, and its floors set in Italian marbles. A command and control room is built under the supervision and instructions of a DGP and his team of five.

Out of the six blocks, blocks 2, 3, 4 and 5 have been inaugurated and functions normally with space ready for minister’s meetings. The first block has CMO and the 6th block the Assembly.

The CMO comprises the CM’s cabin, chief secretary’s cabin, CMO officials’ cabins, principal secretary’s cabin, CM’s cadre area, a large conference hall, a video conference hall etc that are in the final stage of construction.

There are seven lifts, of which one is for the CM’s exclusive use. Tech- savvy Naidu has taken a keen interest in the construction and designing of the temporary Secretariat, and there is also resort to solar power and high-end CC cameras.

The Chief Minister's chamber in Hyderabad Secretariat is a high-rise structure overlooking the main road and has in-built security features including fortified, bullet-proof windowpanes, and concrete and painting, the renovation done with a budget of Rs 10 crore, which was a mere waste.
