Koheda layout to be developed in 9 months

The HMDA would develop 106 acres with an estimated cost of Rs 50 crore.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority has claimed that they have already handed over the Koheda layout development work to Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL) engineers who would prepare budget estimates and provide civic amenities.

The HMDA would develop 106 acres with an estimated cost of Rs 50 crore. Officials claimed that they have already handed over the possession certificate to Outer Ring Road project affected families from whom the land has been acquired.

HMDA authorities also claimed that 50 per cent of the work has been completed in Thimmaipally. The HMDA would develop plots in 66 acres with an estimated cost of '23 crore.

Earlier, the HMDA had proposed to develop layouts comprising plots of various dimensions for allotment to the villagers of Koheda, Adibatla, Thimmaipally Pedda Amberpet, Yadgarpally and Kondapur.

The Koheda layout development would be taken up by the HMDA, while for the other sites, the authority is planning to opt for public-private partnership (PPP) model.
