Vijayawada: Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi had met with an accident two days ago and is taking rest now after being discharged from Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad.
He had met with an accident in Kurnool. The vehicle in which Mr Vamsi was travelling fell into a pit beside the road and he suffered an injury to his backbone.
After treatment, the doctors advised him to take rest for 10 days.
Mr Vamsi has gone to Minister Paritala Sunita daughter’s marriage in Anantapur. He stayed there for a week following Chaman’s death.
The accident occurred while returning from Anantapur. As doctors advised him to avoid journey, he is taking rest in Hyderabad only. His close associate told Deccan Chronicle, “It is a minor injury. He will come back to Gannavaram in a week or 10 days.”
