Coimbatore: Lister Metropolis, a unit of Metropolis Healthcare Ltd, a multinational chain of laboratories has opened an advanced state of the art laboratory in R. S. Puram Coimbatore. Lister Metropolis has over 10 state-of-the-art laboratories and over 250 plus collection centers in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Mr. Anand K, chief operating officer, Lister Metropolis said, “Lister Metropolis will be the first accredited network to enter Coimbatore.
“We are equipped to process nearly 300 tests in a day and the tests offered will include immunochemistry, microbiology, clinical pathology, hematology carried by a team of skilled medical technologists guided by expert pathologists.”
Spread across 1,500 sq. ft, the laboratory will also cater to samples from adjoining areas and towns including Erode, Ooty, Pollachi and Karur.
The facility also gratifies the populace of Coimbatore through its patient service centers and will also provide its popular Lab at home service to the locals of Coimbatore catering to around 30 to 50 patients per day.
