Bengaluru: A day after a drunk, 25-year-old Colombian woman fell to her death from the second floor of her apartment under the Jeevan Bima Nagar police limits, the police are yet to receive the postmortem report.
A police officer said that the reports may come on Tuesday evening or Wednesday, and only after that the police will take permission and hand over the body of Karen Daniela to her friends, who will then fly to Colombia.
The police said it was clear that Daniela fell under the influence of alcohol and there was no foul play. Her family has been informed, but chances of them flying to India are bleak. That is the reason her body will be handed over to her friends after the autopsy reports are out.
Daniela, who worked as a translator, had gone to a party along with a group of friends, all from Colombia, to Whitefield on Saturday. After finishing the party, they came home. Daniela, who had gone to the balcony, accidentally slipped and fell to her death.
