Governor favours Telangana not Andhra Pradesh: Vishnu Kumar Raju

Expressing displeasure over not approving a bill.

Visakhapatnam: Expressing displeasure over not approving a bill, BJP floor leader in the Legislative Assembly and Vizag North MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju once again made controversial comments against Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan alleging that the Governor has been showing step-motherly attitude towards Andhra Pradesh and supporting Telangana.

Talking to media persons in Vizag city on Wednesday, the BJP leader alleged that AP government sent a Bill on converting an agriculture land into a non-agricultural one (better known by its short name NALA) to the Governor on December 4, 2017.

But, the Governor did not approve it seeking more clarification on the Bill. At the same time, the Governor had approved similar Bill sent by the Telangana government, within a week, the MLA said.

As there was no clarity in the state on the NALA Act-2016, which is vital for investments in the state, most of the industrialists have been choosing other states and investing, he added.
