Karnataka Govt Helpline for Distressed Kannadigas in Israel

Mangaluru: In the wake of the conflict in Israel, the Karnataka government has established a helpline to aid distressed Kannadigas.

The Chief Minister, via X (formerly Twitter), stated, “We have set up a helpline for the rescue of Kannadigas stranded in war-affected Israel. If you are unable to reach your family members in Israel or if you require immediate assistance due to the conflict, do not hesitate to call the helpline numbers for the necessary aid.”

The designated helpline numbers provided by the state government are 080-22340676 and 080-22253707.

The Chief Minister affirmed the government's commitment to safeguarding the well-being of Kannadigas residing in any part of the world.

District administrations have also established dedicated helplines. Udupi district Deputy Commissioner Dr K Vidya Kumari issued a press statement urging individuals to reach out to the district control room by dialing 1077 or 0820-2574802, or alternatively, the state helpline number.

Similarly, the Uttara Kannada district administration has encouraged those in need to contact 1077, 08382-229857, or the mobile number 9483511015.
