She wrote in Kannada, "Thank you Roopa Madam. May be only the women are courageous in this department. Being women, we both experienced same pain, but there is a difference in being officers. You are a IPS and I am poor KSPS," along with hashtag#Brihannalas.

Her FB account may be hacked: Brother
Kudligi DySP Anupama’s brother Achyuth feels that there were possibilities of his sister’s Facebook account being hacked. Messages related to Minister Parameshwar Naik posted in Anupama’s Facebook account have been in news for the past two days.
He told reporters in Udupi that there were possibilities of Anupama’s Facebook account being hacked and added that if the account was hacked they would consider filing a complaint after speaking to Anupama. He also said that Anupama could not be contacted since Tuesday afternoon.
