Bhopal: Members of the saffron outfits including their women wing, Durga Vahini, have been undergoing arms training on the outskirts of state capital of Bhopal for self-defence as well as to “deal with the situation that creates obstacles in the construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya”.
Around 1,000 activists of Bajrang Dal, VHP and Durga Vahini have participated in the training camp ,christened as “Shourya Prashikhan Shivir” (training camp to instill courage), that impart them skills on baton and sword fighting and operation of firearms like guns.
“The camp will make the participants battle- prepared to tackle any situation that creates hurdles in construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya and to counter any terrorist attack”, a senior functionary of VHP which sponsored the training camp said on Tuesday.
“We have been trained to prepare ourselves to remove hindrances that come in way of construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya”, a member of Durga Vahini said.
“It is heartening to see that the women have demonstrated their enthusiasm to play a role in construction of Ram Temple at Ayodhya”, VHP regional head of MP and Chhattisgarh Rajesh Tiwari said.
