E-mail on hoardings: Karnataka HC warns sender

The sender of the e-mail, Keshavan K. was present in the Court and pointed out that he had also sent the e-mail to the BBMP.

Bengaluru: An anonymous person who sent an e-mail to the Registrar of the Karnataka High Court in connection with the matter pertaining to illegal advertisements in the city was present before the court on Thursday to offer apology.

The court let him off with a warning not to repeat it in future.

Earlier, Advocate General Uday Holla filed an affidavit stating the inquiry carried out by the cyber crime police station with regard to the questioned e-mail sent to the HC Registry.

The sender of the e-mail, Keshavan K. was present in the Court and pointed out that he had also sent the e-mail to the BBMP.

While accepting the apology, the court said, “The mail sent by him to the BBMP stating his complaint or viewpoint deserves to be attended at by the Palike”. The case has been adjourned to Dec 12.
