HPCL CSR funds enhance super specialty medical services at KGH

Visakhapatnam: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) has donated Rs 5.16 crore in corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds to King George Hospital (KGH) in Visakhapatnam to purchase state-of-the-art medical equipment, further enhancing its super specialty medical services.

The official inauguration of this initiative took place at KGH under the leadership of district collector A. Mallikharjuna. HPCL executive director V. Ratnaraj, H.R. CGM Kiran Kumar, KGH superintendent P. Ashok Kumar, and other esteemed medical officers were also present.

HPCL's CSR funds have been strategically used to provide KGH with essential medical equipment, including oxygen machines, stretchers, and modern medical facilities.

During the inauguration, Mallikharjuna highlighted the importance of public-private partnerships and CSR initiatives in expanding the reach and quality of medical services provided by KGH. He noted that these collaborations have already resulted in the provision of nine modern ambulances equipped with advanced facilities to cater to the local community's healthcare needs.

HPCL's executive director, V. Ratnaraj, stated that HPCL is delighted to participate in the program of providing medical services to the underprivileged and that HPCL applauds the efforts of the district collector in implementing such a large-scale programme.
