Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar told Deccan Chronicle that Dayanand will continue at his present post till Dasara is over.
He has been trasferred to head the Intelligence Department, replacing Soumendu Mukherjee.
Mysuru: The city police commissioner, B Dayanand, who had served at this post for one and half years, has been trasferred to head the Intelligence Department, replacing Soumendu Mukherjee.
Home Minister Dr G Parameshwar told Deccan Chronicle that Dayanand will continue at his present post till Dasara is over. He said, “We needed his expertise in Intelligence department and hence he has been transferred.” When asked about new commissioner, he said it has not yet been decided.
