Students should utilise technology: Siddha Raghava Rao

Siddha Raghava Rao, minister for forest, science and technology, said the government was planning to develop the state as a Technology hub.

Vijayawada: Students should use technology to build their life, said Siddha Raghava Rao, minister for forest, science and technology. He participated in the closing ceremony of the 25th National Children Science Congress-2017 at Rising Engineering College, Ongole.

He said the government was planning to develop the state as a Technology hub. The state government plans to build Science City and subdivision cities along with 3-D theatres soon. “It is very appreciable as 15,000 students have visited the Science Congress, and exhibited 130 projects by students from 13 districts of AP,” he added.

The minister distributed certificates and mementos to the participants in the science congress. District collector, V. Vinay Chand, Karanam Balaram Krishna Murthy, MLC, B.V. Krishna Murthy, member, Technical Council, Geetha Viswanatham, Central observer, National Children Science Congress-2017, B. Rai, CEO, STEP, teachers, students and parents from 13 districts of AP were present.
