Shravil granted bail in Ramya accident case

Primary school student Ramya, her uncle and her grandfather were killed in July.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has granted bail to Shravil, the prime accused in the accident case in the Banjara Hills area of the city in which primary school student Ramya, her uncle and her grandfather were killed in July this year.

Justice C. Praveen Kumar was dealing with the petition of R. Shravil seeking bail. The counsel for the petitioner told the court that his client had been in judicial custody for more than 90 days and his continuation in custody will ruin his education as he is doing an engineering course.

He contended that keeping the petitioner who is an accused in an accident case for more than a month would not only hamper the education of the petitioner but would also have an adverse effect on his future as he in his twenties. The police has not filed the charge sheet in the case.
