'University of Hyderabad' team wins 2nd prize in RBI Policy challenge-2018

The team earlier won the zonal round of RBI Policy Challenge making it to finals held on April 26.

Hyderabad: The team from University of Hyderabad has won the second prize in the finals of RBI Policy Challenge 2018.

The students were given the topic "Normalisation in Advanced Economies: Implications for India" and four hours to work on it. The team comprised Soumyajit Ray, Atish Kumar, Pravesh Koli, Madhurima Chandra - all MA 2nd year students from the School of Economics. They were guided by faculty advisor Prof. Debashis Acharya.

The presentation of the team was followed by a question and answer session by the jury. The team was presented with a cash prize of Rs.50,000 and a citation by deputy governor of RBI Dr Viral V Acharya.

The team earlier won the zonal round of RBI Policy Challenge making it to finals held on April 26.
