N Chandrababu Naidu exposed, says TRS

TRS leaders accused the AP CM of spewing venom on Telangana.

Hyderabad: AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s emotional outburst while inaugurating AP’s new Legislative Assembly building in Amaravati on Thursday that bifurcation of the state was “insulting, humiliating and painful” has created a political storm in TS.

Saying that the comments have “once again exposed Naidu’s anti-Telangana stand,” TRS leaders accused the AP CM of spewing venom on Telangana and not able to digest the reality that though it was formed just 33 months ago, it is outperforming AP. Nizamabad MP K. Kavitha, finance minister Etala Rajender and MP Balka Suman demanded Mr Naidu tender an unconditional apology to the people of TS for his “unwarranted comments”.

“Naidu always opposed Telangana while he was in power or when he was in the Opposition. Even after bifurcation and he becoming the CM again, he continues to adopt an anti-Telangana stand. This was proven once again on Thursday. We demand Naidu shut down the TS TD and tender unconditional apology to the Telangana people,” Ms Kavitha said.

Mr Rajender said, “Naidu is jealous of Telangana racing ahead in development. He insulted Parliament by saying that AP Reorganisation Bill was passed forcefully by closing the doors of Parliament and without consent of MPs. He should realise that all parties, including the TD gave written consent to the Centre for bifurcation.”

Mr Balka Suman alleged that Mr Naidu was trying to create a rift between AP and TS people. “When both AP and TS people are living in harmony after bifurcation of state, Naidu is trying to flare up regional passions once again, to destabilise Telangana. We will not allow this. People are ready to teach a befitting lesson to the TD in 2019 elections.”
