KE Krishna Murthy’s cable TV firm raided

MDCC is a partnership firm floated by Mr Krishna Murthy, S.V. Mohan Reddy and the T.G. family. Mr Mohan Reddy.

Kurnool: A cable signal distribution company, owned by TD senior leader K.E. Krishna Murthy, was raided by Kurnool police on Saturday on charges of software piracy. The police seized seven hard disks and CPUs.

With this, the Mahalakshmi Digital Cable and Communications Private Limited switched off relay of local programmes while continuing satellite channels.

Copyright Safety Systems (CSS) MD H.V. Chalapathi Raju and members of the anti-piracy cell, along with police raided MDCC, claiming that they received information of software piracy and filed a case (FIR No. 296/2019) .

MDCC is a partnership firm floated by Mr Krishna Murthy, S.V. Mohan Reddy and the T.G. family. Mr Mohan Reddy, who is now in the YSRC started his own cable distribution company.

MDCC CEO Mahesh said that they have all permissions and valid licences for the software and there was no piracy.

Inspector Maheshwar Reddy said a case has been registered and investigation is on.
