Hyderabad: A fire broke out at the kitchen of Ashoka Lodge, which is located in a lane opposite the Secunderabad Railway Station, on Sunday morning.
Locals, who called the fire department following which a tender from Begumpet arrived at the spot at 10.48 am, said the kitchen was located on the ground floor of the building in Regimental Bazaar.
The firefighters took 20 minutes to control the fire, using ordinary pipes. They said there was no one in or around the kitchen at the time of the incident.
The police also took note of the incident and suspected a short circuit causing the fire.
