Hyderabad: As it completes 2.5 years in office, the TS government on Wednesday took up major reshuffle of IAS officers. M.G. Gopal, special chief secretary, MAUD, was transferred and posted as special chief secretary, Revenue and Registration & Stamps, in the place of K. Pradeep Chandra, who was appointed the new Chief Secretary.
Ajay Mishra, special chief secretary, excise and commercial taxes, and revenue was transferred and posted as special chief secretary, Energy department.
He was also given full additional charge of the post of secretary, SC development in place of Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka.
Chitra Ramachandran, who was awaiting posting, was posted as principal secretary, Housing in place of G. Asok Kumar. Adhar Sinha, principal secretary, GAD (pol) was given full additional charge of the post of secretary (Services & HRM), GAD, relieving N. Siva Sankar from full additional charge.
Somesh Kumar, principal secretary, Tribal Welfare, was transferred and posted as principal secretary, Excise & Commercial Taxes, Revenue in place Mr Ajay Mishra. Sunil Sharma, principal secretary, Transport and R&B, was given full additional charge of the post of commissioner, Transport in place of Sandeep Kumar Sultania. Mr Asok Kumar is posted as principal secretary, BC Welfare.
Busani Venkateswara Rao, who was awaiting posting, was posted as Fisheries commissioner. Sabyasachi Ghosh, secretary, Industries & Commerce, was transferred and posted as secretary, Youth Services. Mr Benhur Mahesh Dutt Ekka was posted as secretary, tribal welfare.
Mr Sultania was posted as secretary, finance. These apart, K. Shashanka, sub-collector, Jagtial was transferred for appointment as Karimnagar municipal commission.
Shruti Ojha, sub-collector, Vikarabad, was transferred and her services were placed at the disposal of MAUD for appointment as Warangal municipal commissioner.
Adwait Kumar Singh, sub-collector, Asifabad was transferred and posted as additional GHMC commissioner. Meanwhile, new CS K. Pradeep Chandra has been given full additional charge of the post of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration.
