Hyderabad: A python was spotted in a classroom at the government primary school in the Maddulwai village of Medak district creating panic among both children and teachers on Monday.
The python was found when the students of Class IV tried to move one of the benches but it didn’t move. They spotted the python hiding under the bench. They immediately ran out of the class.
The python came out of the classroom after teachers blew smoke into the classroom, and was later killed. Encountering small snakes near the school premises is not new for them, however, this is the first tine that they came across a python.
Teachers and students have urged officials to take adequate precautionary measures and to put up fencing around the school.
