Hyderabad: The Film Nagar police arrested a 21-year-old in collaboration with the Task Force for drug possession on Thursday. The accused, Mohd Ubaid Ahmed, is a resident of Tolichowki and is working for a bike taxi aggregator.
According to police, Ubaid native of Zaheerabad in Sanga Reddy District, moved to Hyderabad a few months ago for livelihood.
On a tip off, he was caught red handed with 8.56 grams of Cocaine in his possession. Police found that he sourced the contraband from Gayaz, a Mumbai native supplier, currently absconding, and supplied to users in the city.
He was sent to judicial custody, while the probe is on to find out the details of his customers.
