There are several messages from Raghini Brar, daughter of AP Singh and Moin Qureshi.

Hyderabad: Explosive hints of bribe payments to top CBI functionaries like former CBI chief A.P. Singh have surfaced in an operation by the ED and I-T officials, who retrieved chat messages of some accused industrialists in Emaar and other scams. The teams broke into the Blackberry Messenger Chat data that had messages of accused meat exporter Moin Qureshi and industrialist Pradeep Koneru, among others, that showed the two frequently used abusive words against CBI’s former joint director V.V. Laxminarayana.

In the messages sent by Koneru to Qureshi, he referred to (then) CBI chief Singh as “Boss’ and Laxminarayana as “DOG”. There are several conversations regarding transfer of Laxmina-rayana in 2013 when Singh headed CBI. Mr Laxminarayana, it was alleged, had been transferred due to “pressures” — a charge denied by CBI, which clarified that his deputation had ended.
