Telangana: Party turns tragedy, 3 die in road mishap

According to the police, the bike is registered in the name of Patlolla Krishnaveni and has 11 challans pending against it.

Hyderabad: In a major road accident on the NH 44 in Petbasheerabad, three youngsters, including an engineering student, were killed on Friday. The police said that the incident happened when the bike rider lost control of the bike and rammed into a road divider. The trio were returning after partying at a wine shop and were identified as Sairatan, Anil Kumar and Amanraj, all hailing from neighbouring villages in Nizamabad district.

According to the police, the bike is registered in the name of Patlolla Krishnaveni and has 11 challans pending against it. Sairatan, 21, is studying for final year engineering at Malla Reddy College, while Amanraj, 23, completed his engineering course and is a job-seeker and Anil Kumar Goud, 21, is a hotel management student.

They were friends and used to meet often. On Thursday night, all of them gathered at Seven Hills wines and consumed liquor. Later, they headed towards their rooms. Anil was riding the bike while others were pillion riding. When they reached Suchitra X road, Anil lost control of the bike and rammed into a road divider. It was also found that Anil was not wearing a helmet. “They sustained severe injuries on the head and other parts of the body. Anil and Sairatan died on the spot, while Amanraj was declared brought dead at a nearby hospital,” said Mr C. Ravichandra, inspector, Petbasheerabad.
