Hyderabad: BDS graduate G. Sai Rishvitha and Intermediate I student M. Varun Reddy committed suicide in Saidabad in separate incidents reportedly over academics-related anxities. Police said Varun Reddy, 24, of Pushpa Apartments, was preparing for higher studies in US. His relation got selected, but his application was pending. Police said this may have depressed him, leading to his suicide.
In the other incident, police said Sai Rishvitha 16, a student of Sri Gayatri Junior College at Dilsukhnagar, was depressed with her poor performance in monthly tests. She had told her friends that she was worried that her family be get defamed if she gets poor marks.
