Hyderabad: A 24-year-old man harassed a SHE teams officer by uploading her phone number on porn sites. Biram Nikhil Kumar hailing from Warangal district, started harassing the cop, when she called him on his phone to inquire about a complaint against him filed by a student. Police arrested Nikhil Kumar on Tuesday. Police said a student approached Rachakonda SHE teams in October 2016 stating that she had been receiving abusive messages.
ASI Narasimha contacted the girl. She refused to lodge a complaint and requested the police to solve the issue.
The woman officer contacted Nikhil Kumar on his phone but he spoke rudely. A few days later he started harassing the officer by sending abusive messages. After that Nikhil absconded and continued to harass the officer. A month ago, he uploaded the officer’s number on a porn site after which she received numerous calls. SHE teams officer M. Snehitha said that when the incident happened the officer was in the eighth month of pregnancy. Based on mobile location Nikhil was traced to Warangal and he was arrested.
