Hyderabad: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Kamareddy district on Wednesday night. The incident came to light on Thursday after the victim was admitted in the government area hospital at Kamareddy.
According to sources, Marupally Balakrishna, 45, of Rameshwarpally village abducted the girl on Wednesday evening and allegedly raped her. Noticing the blood strains, the parents of the girl alerted the villagers, who thrashed Balakrishna and handed him over to the police. The girl has been shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Devunipally police registered a case and are investigating.
