Hyderabad: A pedestrian was injured when a two-wheeler reportedly being ridden by a drunk rider hit him on Thursday night in LB Nagar. The rider and the person on the pillion seat were injured and hospitalised.
Somaiah, 55, a security guard, was walking home after duty when Avadesh, a carpenter from Bihar, riding on his two-wheeler along with Anil at high speed, rammed into Somaiah.
Both Avadesh and Anil were suspected to be drunk and were hospitalised after the accident with injuries. Somaiah suffered fractures on her left leg and left hand and internal injuries in the head.
“We have sent the blood samples for blood alcohol tests,” an LB Nagar police official said.
