HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad police will bring Sonu Dangar from Rajkot in Gujarat on a transit warrant to the city. The woman recently uploaded videos on social media, making blasphemous comments against Prophet Mohammed.
Four cases are registered against her, who was absconding from her home after the videos went viral. Cases are also registered against her in other states in the country. A police team had gone to Rajkot to arrest her but could not succeed as she had locked her house and fled.
The Rajkot police caught her last week and remanded her to custody. The Hyderabad police approached the Rajkot court and requested for a transit warrant which was granted by the court. The woman will be brought to Hyderabad, a senior police official said.
