AP Government’s E-Office Services to Halt for a Week

Vijayawada: The e-office system will be unavailable at all government departments in Andhra Pradesh from January 25 to January 31 due to system upgrade, AP Chief Secretary Dr K.S. Jawahar Reddy has announced.

The old version of the system is being replaced with a new one. As a result, the government’s e-office services will be unavailable from gram panchayats to secretariat departments, including village, district and state offices, department heads and autonomous bodies in the state.

Jawahar Reddy said the new version of e-office system will be available from February 1. Till then, he has asked top officials of respective departments to take necessary measures, so that all offices under them continue functioning in a smooth manner till January 31.

The CS underlined that alternative measures be taken, so that correspondence related to government activities continues without interruption.
IT department said training will be provided on the new e-office system to master trainers from gram panchayat to state level on January 23 and January 24 in the fifth block of state secretariat.
