Man proposes to girlfriend while waiting to watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

The past few years have witnessed a rise in the number of people coming up with innovative and adorable ways to propose to their partners. While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been in the news for the past few weeks, a couple caught everyone’s attention with their own special moment.

20-year-old Mike Metz from the United States was waiting at Sandringham with his partner Ashley Millican to catch a glimpse of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and the queen. When a news correspondent was asking them why it was important for them to see the royals on Christmas morning, Mike went on one knee and pulled out a ring.

He told Ashley that he wanted to spend all his Christmases with her and asked her to marry him. The girl was overwhelmed as she fought back tears to say yes and took the ring from the white box.

The couple were visiting from Wisconsin to see a relative in the UK and came to Sandringham to see the royals attending a Christmas Day service.
