The sixth edition of God’s Own Latin Country, probably the first and only latin dancing social and a brand that aims to promote latin dancing in Kerala is scheduled to take place at the Casino Hotel, Willingdon islands on August 25. The social will include a get together of dancers inclined towards latin dances like the Salsa, Cha Cha Cha & Rumba, Bachata & Merengue and the Samba, dance socially, hone their skills and meet new people. God’s Own Latin Country, will also be conducting a free one hour workshop before the socials to create awareness and interest amongst first time dancers. According to Tushar Abraham, founder of God’s Own Latin Country, singer, songwriter and dancer majority of the dance schools in the city have also associated with the brand and they have been receiving active participation and performance showcases during the socials. Some of them include The Floor, Abode Dance School, Mudra Centre for Dance, Beats n Steps, Salsa Kerala, Passion Studios & Riverbourne Centre.
