The medical field is quite strict about their dress code because it defines their dedication to their work. However, some take the liberty to stylize their uniforms to look good but for one Thai nurse it clearly didn’t work out after a photo she posted online went viral for all the wrong reasons eventually making her quit.
According to a report in the Daily Mail, 26-year-old Parichat ‘Pang’ Chatsri had to quit her job at a local private hospital in Isan because the hospital thought her nurse uniform was ‘overly sexy’ and brought shame to her profession. The nurse was pictured wearing a tight-fitting lilac uniform with a short skirt but was accused of dressing inappropriately and disrespecting the nursing profession.
The photo which was posted on a Facebook group called the Thai Nurse Lovers Association where it went viral. Parichat decided to resign because she didn’t want to make it a big deal and cause harm to the reputation of other nurses.
