Man falls asleep on massage chair, wakes up to find himself locked inside a store

Shopping can be a tiring experience at times and one might want to sit back and relax once in a while, in which case a good massage and a sound sleep work wonders. But some times one needs to mind her/his surroundings before taking a nap, something a Japanese man did not seem to remember.

Reports suggested that a man identified from his Twitter handle as Asphodelus ended up getting a bit too comfortable while trying a massage chair at an electronic store. He dozed off and woke up only to find himself all alone in the dark as store was locked.

But social media came to the rescue as he posted pictures on Twitter with the caption “Oh, I’m locked in”, and was rescued shortly after he contacted police who asked the store manager to free him. The police also checked if he had not hidden inside the store on purpose.

The man later apologised for sleeping in the store and the manager also regretted that his staff did not notice the man on the chair.
