A meeting between a mother and her son is an event of unparalleled joy, and it’s even more emotionally charged when the son is comes back from service in the army to surprise his mother.
The emotional event was witnessed when 26-year-old Larry Sterns, who serves in the 101st Airborne Division of the US Army, decided to surprise his mother by coming home earlier than expected.
Larry’s mom Denise, a janitor at Phoenix Central Station, was elated on finding out that the soldier near her workplace was actually her son who she had last seen in January, and yelled ‘No’ before jumping to hug her child.
The video filled with love and affection went viral and has close to 1.5 million views.
