Video: Scottish woman offers marriage proposal' as last chance to remain in EU
A Scottish actress and comedian has joined the long list of people poking fun at the outcome of Brexit by asking English men to marry her in order to be a part of the EU. Rachel Loughran, also known as Ray-Lo, posted a funny video online with the hashtag #MakeMeScottish in which she dramatically offers ‘the chance of a lifetime’.
The video shows Loughran sitting in a diner with a plate of deep-fried haggis and saying that tying the knot with her would be the perfect opportunity for folks who wish to obtain a Scottish passport. She even cries, “Go on, the bagpipes are calling you,” with sounds of the traditional Scottish wind instrument playing in the background.
It will be interesting to see if potential suitors could come up with an interesting reply to Loughran’s video.
