Dolls are not just playmates. Often they are intrinsic creative pieces that deserve much more attention than is usually bestowed upon them. Two people who have taken the art of doll making to a whole new lever are Russian artists Anastasiya and Surgey Lutsenko.
The duo creates dolls that are so realistic that they often look like miniatiue human beings!
The duo, both of whom have classical art diplomas and are qualified painters say that they draw inspiration from character types that they see standing out in the crowd. They started making dolls in 2011 but have never repeated the same design twice. They believe that each of their creation is unique.
People are often spell-bound by their creations with they Instagram account being flooded with requests for purchases or sheer astonishment at seeing their craft.
