Czech out the soul of Europe

Designer Neetu Gupta shares her experience on her recent trip.

1Berlin was about all my siblings being together. It was a blast stumbling into a vintage Vivienne Westwood store, going to the East Side Gallery, a part of the Berlin Wall.

2Budapest’s buildings have a character of their own and are too pretty. I loved the old world charm of this place. I also liked browsing through all the lovely crystal stores. But the best part was doing a pub crawl through the ruin bars!

3The St Stephen’s Basilica in Vienna, surrounded by horses and people dressed like they were from a different century was unlike anything I’d experienced before. Top that off with an amazing Mozart opera and you have a perfect holiday.

4I loved walking through the old town square and chain bridge in Prague. And then went sky diving with my kids, which was way out of my comfort zone, but was extremely exhilarating. I’ve ticked it off my bucket list and I’m super proud of doing it.

5I loved eating street food across Europe. I loved the sausages in Berlin. In Budapest, I loved the rose ice cream. I also liked the truffle oil pizzas which were to die for.
