Dancer Sharmila Mukherjee shares with us a tried and tested recipe for Chilly Chicken one that her mother used!

Chilly Chicken

Ingredients

  • 200-250 gm chicken
  • ½ cap vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2-3 green chillies
  • 2-3 stalks of spring onions
  • ½ capsicum (optional)

Preparation

  • Marinade chicken with salt and vinegar for half an hour to one hour (depending on the amount of chicken).
  • Cook chicken on a slow fire.
  • Once chicken is tender, add the soy sauce and chillies; mix well.
  • If you are using capsicum, fry the capsicum before adding to the chicken.
  • Add finely sliced spring onions for garnish.
  • Enjoy with bread or noodles!
