KOZHIKODE: All that you need to know about cyber crime investigation and its pitfalls will be available soon in a Malayalam book titled Mobilum Jailum (Mobile and Prison) written by cyber forensic expert Dr P. Vinod Bhattathiripad. The book deals with his experiences as a cyber crime investigator and the way in which he cracked several knotty problems faced by individuals, institutions and the government.
The book being published by DC Books in the second week of August explains the incidents which sent many youngsters to prison, the traps of social networking sites like Facebook, WhatsApp and even the use of mobile phones.
Mr Vinod Bhattathiripad told DC that the book would help the reader avoid the traps of the cyber world. It sheds light on the cyber laws and their misuse, gathering evidence in cyber crimes and CCTV visuals. Mr R. Basant, senior advocate of Supreme Court, in his foreword says that the book will help the readers take precautions against the hidden dangers of the cyber world.
