The etching, intaglio prints and drawings on display in the show ‘working together’' celebrates the eternal bond that mankind shares with ‘nature’ in varied forms and iridescence. The works by Srinivas Tingrekar amalgamate the two into a single form, the artist reveals, “The form of human figure with arms like wings are reminiscent of my childhood dreams and innocent contemplations.” Similarly, Manguirish Rajadhyax in his drawings and etchings creates a wide array of ambiguous, animal like creatures with human heads. He makes no attempt to create an aesthetically correct dialogue and thus the figures fascinate with their grotesque avatars.

On the other hand, intricate and profusely filled up spaces in the ‘still life’ works by Nandini Goud exemplify a frequent mention of flora and fauna. One of her etching linear drawing gracefully recreates the innate rhythm of a cluster of plants and leaves that enthrals. On the other hand nature gets celebrated with rural background in the works by Rajashekhar Komakulla. The artist tells more about the mention of animals in his works, “We see the cock, hen and goat in each and every part of the village terrain, so they are welcome in my works too.” While, artist Sumanto Choudhary, works on subject matter that revolves around the city of Hyderabad with beautifully juxtaposed eclectic excerpts, here the mention of widely spread trees cannot be missed. Similarly, large trees appear in the works by Rajshree along with her strong, sensitive protagonists. “My works capture the ecstatic moments I share with my two year old daughter,” beams Madhumita. One of the beautiful works depicts her daughter with a flower lightly tucked behind her ear.
