Hyderabad: Kalasagaram is hosting their four-day mid-year music festival that features well-known artists from across the state. Vocalist Bhargavi Venkatram was featured on Day 1, with Dinakar on the violin and Burra Sriram on the mridangam. The concert was held in the memory of Doris Patricia Smith (Sekaran), sponsored by her husband G. Sekaran and their sons Christopher and Allan,
Day 2, Sunday, will have a memorial concert for Lakshmi Sundararaja Rao which will have vocalist the Vivek Sadasivam perform with Dinkar and D.S.R. Murthy.
The shows will go on till Tuesday with other artists including T.V.S Mahadevan, K.V. Krishna, K. Shyam Kumar, Trivandrum Balaji, Ashwath Narayanan, Falgun and Haribabu, performing live everyday at 6 pm at Meenakshi Sunderam Hall at West Marredpally.
