A book on the film Jyothi Lakshmi was released on Wednesday at an event held in Hyderabad. The film was directed by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme played the title role.
At the event, Charmme looked lovely in a Jayanti Reddy outfit. Tanikella Bharani, Akash Puri and a few other celebrities also attended the event. “The film is based on a book written by Malladi Venkata Krishnamurthy. Puri made this film with a lot of inspiration. Wherever I go, people call me Jyothi Lakshmi. I can speak Telugu but I can’t read it. So I will ask the writer what she has written about the film and me,” says Charmme.
Writer-actor-director Tanikella Bharani appreciated author Sarvamangala Gowri. “I hadn’t seen the film, but after I read the book, I watched the film recently. It’s a good thought,” he said.
