Hyderabad: Infosys plans heritage fest

The highlight of the event would be a cultural programme by the employees of Infosys.

Hyderabad: To keep alive India’s cultural heritage and diversity, Infosys Foundation that has been supporting activities connected to art, will hold the Infosys Foundation festival at Anupu bringing alive the ancient monuments through traditional performing and visual arts.

The festival will be inaugurated by Buddhist monks who will pay floral tributes to the image of Buddha. The event will include folk dances of Andhra Pradesh, followed by a Nadaswaram recital. Instrumental music, Kuchipudi, festival folk dances, classical dance features exclusive to Andhra, and devotional music embodying the arts featured at the festival. The highlight of the event would be a cultural programme by the employees of Infosys.

WHAT: A three-day cultural festival organized by Infosys Foundation at Anupu comprising of fifteen events featuring more than 350 distinguished artistes. The entry is open and free to all.
WHEN: December 9, 10 & 11, 2016 from 3.30 pm to 7.00 pm
WHERE: Amphi Theatre, (Archeological Monument Site), Anupu, Near Nagarjuna Sagar, Andhra Pradesh (Anupu can be reached by crossing the police check-post after the newly constructed bridge via the Boat Launch Station. Boating facility is also available at Anupu on small fishing boats)
