Floyd Mayweather came into the biggest fight in history with a 49-0 record.
UFC Lightweight champion Conor McGregor, the challenger, was fighting his first pro-boxing bout against the most experienced boxer on the circuit.
McGregor started off with great energy, hustling Mayweather all around the ring.
The Experienced Mayweather, however, knows all the tricks of the trade, and managed to keep the Irishman at bay.
Mayweather's tactics soon started to pay the dividends, as the fight progressed beyond the 4th round.
McGregor, who is only used to fighting five rounds in the UFC, was soon getting tired.
This is exactly what Mayweather was waiting for.
The veteran boxer pounced on the tiring McGregor, hurling in a flurry of punches.
Conor McGregor simply had no answers for Floyd Mayweather's fists of fury in Round 10.
In the end, the referee had to bring the match to an end two rounds prematurely, handing the biggest bout in history to Floyd Mayweather, via technical knockout.
Mayweather was as calm and composed after the fight, as he was, during it, soaking in the applause after defeating McGregor.
After all the huffing and puffing of the pre-fight meets between the two, it was good to see the two great champions share some friendly banter and show some mutual respect for each other.
