Bollywood star Naseeruddin Shah recently revealed that he turned down an opportunity to star as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series. The actor said that he was asked to audition for the part after Richard Harris died, but turned it down because he didn't want to audition for it. - Long before Quantico came along, Priyanka Chopra was offered television series 'Immortals'. She however turned it down as she was then working on her film '7 Khoon Maaf'. In a recent interview, PC revealed that she accepted the lead role of Alex Parrish in 'Quantico' because it was not stereotypical and that it would be challenging.
- Irrfan Khan is one of the few Indian actors who have made a name for themselves in both the Bollywood and Hollywood film industries. The actor left fans stumped when he revealed that he turned down a role in the Oscar nominated film 'Interstellar'. Irran was offered Matt Damon's role in the film, but turned it down as he would have to be in the US for 4 months, and it would clash with his films The Lunchbox and D-Day.
