For anyone who’s watched the Hindi film Hunterrr, the role of Sai Tamhankar is definitely memorable of all the female characters. And in the film’s Telugu remake to be directed by Naveen Medaram, Hyderabadi girl Supriya Aysola is set to reprise the role.
“She was selected keeping in mind the interesting role. They roped her in as she is a fairly unknown name and would add an element of freshness,” shares a source in the know.
Supriya has earlier starred in the film Bhoo and will be seen as a housewife in the film that stars Srinivas Avasarala as the male lead reprising the role of Gulshan Devaiah.
