Even as Balakrishna’s landmark 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni is set to hit the theatres in a few days, it looks like he has okayed another film. We hear the actor will next be seen in a film directed by S.V. Krishna Reddy.
“Discussions have been on for a while now and they have decided to begin work soon. Producer Sai Korrapati will bankroll the venture,” shares a source, without revealing details about the genre of the film. The film goes on the floors in January 2017.
Interestingly, S.V. Krishna Reddy, who was one of the most sought after directors of the 90s, has teamed up with Balakrishna only once earlier in the 1994 film Top Hero which didn’t make a mark at the box-office but was a musical success. The director’s last film, Yamaleela 2 did not fare well.
