There’s great news for Chiranjeevi fans. The Koratala Siva and Chiranjeevi film that got officially launched a few days ago will also feature the Megastar’s son, Ram Charan.
“Ram Charan is playing a younger Chiranjeevi and appears for some time in the film. The story starts in the 80s, so the director wanted Charan to play a young Chiru,” says a source, adding, “Showing 64-year-old Chiranjeevi as a young man would have looked odd, so the director zeroed in on Charan — a move which is sure to enthrall their fans.” Apparently, Chiranjeevi has a double role in the film, with one of the characters set against a Naxalite backdrop. Director Koratala has always been known to highlight social issues along with commercial ingredients, and seems to be sticking to that theme in this film too.
