Popular character actress Surekha Vani has been in the news for all the wrong reasons for the last few days. She took to social media and appealed to the media and others not to drag her and her family into this controversy.
"There is no truth in the recent allegations made against me. Our family is suffering a lot due to these baseless allegations. Our professional work is also taking a beating. Invariably, affecting mine as well my children' s career. Please avoid dragging our names into these controversies," she urged in her video.
However, she avoided taking the name of tainted dubbing film producer K P Choudury. Her name cropped up along with others for reportedly having links with him.
Recently, KP Chowdhary, who released "Kabali," in two Telugu states, was nabbed in a drug case by Hyderabad police. He was apprehended while supplying drugs to a customer.
