Dil Raju is one of the producers of Mahesh Babu-starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru. He has also bought the Nizam area rights for Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikuntapurramloo. So, he’s responsible for allocating well-known theatres to both these films.
“He is also producing two upcoming films with these two big stars, so he needs to ensure he allocates good theatres to both of them. While Mahesh Babu’s team has already given their list of preferred theatres, Allu Arjun’s team has also given their preferred list,” says a source.
However, as Mahesh Babu’s film releases a day before Allu Arjun’s film, the producer wants to allocate most of the screens for him. That being said, Mahesh Babu’s team wants to retain most of them on the second day also, which is when Allu Arjun’s film releases, so the pressure on Dil Raju is to allocate theatres both parties prefer, which means some of them may even be the same theatres.
